Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy is a 16-year old American who was who was born in Miami Florida. She is half English mixed with Spanish her parents are Dennis Alan Taylor a former banker, and Jennifer Marina Joy a psychologist. The father of her mother, who is Argentinan of Scottish as well as English descent is her mother. She is Spanish with English roots. Taylor-Joy was born into a family of six children. Four are her siblings from her previous marriage to Taylor's dad. Buenos Aires was her home until the age of six after which the family relocated to Victoria within London. Taylor Joy admitted that the transition from Buenos Aires, to Victoria was difficult, and she didn't take the time to learn English and was hoping to go home to Argentina. Hill House became her school of choice after Taylor-Joy was required to switch schools. In the following years, she attended Queen's Gate School and studied ballet. When she was 16 she left school to make a career of acting. Taylor-Joy had a destiny to become an actor from a young age. The realization of her dreams came when Sarah Doukas, the founder of Storm Management offered her a modeling gig.
