Taylor
Taylor Swift may be the most rare of all pop stars. She was an artist who was able to effortlessly bridge the gap between pop and country while sweeping the globe. Swift left her country roots like they were a second skin, revealing she was possibly the most savvy popular singer/songwriter in her generation one who could harness the mood of the moment and personalize it and equally impressively do in the opposite direction. Swift's early hits, especially her neo celebration of Tim McGraw, showed off the talents of her. The album from 2008 Fearless showcased a writer who was discovering herself and finding a large audience. Fearless wound up having considerable legs not only in the U.S. where it racked up six platinum singles thanks to Top Ten hits Love Story and You Belong with Me but throughout the world performing particularly well with Canada, the U.K. Canada and Australia. Swift could build on her popularity through Speak Now almost two year later. The next three albums she released, Red (2012) 1989 (2004) and Reputation (2017) Reputation (2017), her popularity increased and she was able to enter the world of pop music with a clear sense of where she was a part of. Although she slowed down her work with folklore and Evermore releases in 2020 she was in the forefront of pop music.
