Lisa Edelstein is an American actress, best known for her role on the Fox medical series, House. Growing up with traditional Jews from Wayne, New York City was the place she went to pursue her studies in the theater at Tisch. She quickly became part of the club scene in New York. Her shows were so captivating that the local press noticed. Eventually she used her training along with her fame and training to write and compose a musical called Positive Me and was also in it. Awake the Wild Side, a show that she was host for MTV quickly became her new assignment. Once the program was over the actress went on to join the film as well as TV productions. The first time she worked, she was able to get small parts and established herself in the process of becoming an actress.
