Aahoo Jahansouzshahi January 10, 1980), known professionally as Sarah Shahi is an American model and actress. She was the actress who was Carmen in The L Word 2005. Kate Reed, USA Network's legal drama Fairly Legal (2011-12), and Sameen Shaw on CBS crime drama Person of Interest (2012)-2016. [2] She also played the role of Det. Dani Reese is a character in the series Life[3] and Alias. 4 She was an actor in Reverie in the year 2018. She starred in a recurring role in City on a Hill on Showtime [5] and in seven episodes of The Rookie as Jessica Russo, her romantic interest. Shahi met Robert Altman during her time as an extra in the show Dr. T and the Women of Texas. He encouraged Shahi to relocate to Hollywood where she received roles in Alias and Dawson's Creek in addition to Reba as well as Supernatural. In 2005, she played the role of DJ Carmen de la Pica Morales as a supporting character on The L Word. She became a part of it during its second season. Shahi's contract for two years was terminated following the fourth season. Her character was then eliminated from the show.
