She graduated from the University of San Diego and has worked as an sportscaster for several stations including Time Warner Cable SportsNet, New England Sports Network in Boston, Time Warner Cable SportsNet Los Angeles, and two stations here in Fresno. Watney was a student at Clovis West High School in Fresno, participating in hurdles, diving, gymnastics and cheerleading.
